The Division 2 open beta will be playable soon, and for those who like to be prepared, pre-loading is now available across PC, Xbox One, and PS4. You can download the test to take part this weekend, from March 1-4. The beta is now live on all platforms. Whether you already downloaded the client or not, access is open to everyone. According to Ubisoft's website, servers will be online from now until Tuesday, March 5 at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM GMT / 8 PM AET.

The intensity of the Dark Zone in Tom Clancy's The Division was very real and the emotional experiences of finding and extracting rare loot, being stabbed in the back, bullied by groups, or being the one to do the stabbing and bullying will be back in full force in the upcoming Tom Clancy's The Division 2. The open beta for the the game is live right now so you can get your Dark Zone practice in now ahead of the game's release. If you take a quick trip into the Dark Zone during the beta, you'll receive an exclusive backpack trophy to wear in the full game.

All you need to do is upload a heroic moment of Dark Zone gameplay from the beta, straight from your Xbox One or PS4 to YouTube. We're specifically after gameplay footage from the unrestricted, player-versus-player mayhem of the Dark Zone, with its last-minute survivals and betrayals. The more surprising and chaotic the better. By the way, you can buy cheap The Division 2 Credits from mmocs.com, where you can enjoy a 3% discount by using the code “ MMOCSVIP ”.

Now we’re getting a real look at exactly what that endgame chase will look like with the first reveal of gearsets. The open beta is this weekend, and while last time during the closed beta we got a glimpse of specializations and higher level gear, the preview stopped short of true ultra-endgame builds. But today Gamespot has a rather fantastic exclusive look at the first gearset from the endgame of The Division 2, the True Patriot set, which looks to be a departure from the sets of the original game.

The open beta will differ from the private tests in a few other ways. First, Ubisoft is raising the level cap to 8. There will also be an additional Skirmish PvP map (Capitol Ruins), as well as another Skill, Chem Launcher, which has two variants: Riot Foam and Explosive Vapor. Finally, Ubisoft is adding two additional Settlement Projects.

Finally, Ubisoft said the open beta will also feature some of “The Division 2’s” end game. Once players complete the Jefferson Trade Center mission, they’ll get access to an end game mission that unlocks three level 30 characters on their account. The mission starts when the player logs in with one of them.
